Dr. Alicia Burbano, MD
ABPN BOARD CERTIFIED IN PSYCHIATRY AND NEUROLOGY
Dr. Burbano completed her undergraduate degree in microbiology from Texas A&M University in 2005 and medical school training at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas, in 2009. She completed her residency training in general adult psychiatry at the University of New Mexico in 2013. She has over 10 years of outpatient mental health experience in a variety of psychiatric settings and diverse populations. She believes in a balance between psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, diet/nutrition, and exercise for long-term growth and development rather than focusing solely on acute symptom relief.
